Venison is very tender and nutritious - less than half the fat of beef, pork and lamb, and even lower fat and less cholesterol than skinless chicken.
It is a good source of iron and omega-3, an essential fatty acid. Our deer have a healthy diet of home produced forage, and as our adults live on grass or silage there are no harmful residues in our venison.
Our paddocks have good natural cover from bushes and trees and others are naturally sheltered by woodland and topography.
In the winter, the young are housed and some have access to barn shelter. They are naturally fed on a grass diet in the summer, supplemented with home grown silage and barley in the winter.
In the meantime please join our mailing list to be kept updated on the latest news and availability of our venison.
